Hot Spring lifter hardware compatibility kit

For our clients that own Hot Spring cover lifters, or certain other cover removal systems, you may be required to select this option so your new cover will work with your existing lifter.

If your lifter requires attachment INTO the hot tub cover (piercing the vinyl skin of the cover) the hardware INSIDE the spa cover that the lifter attaches into must be installed into your cover when the cover is made. Below are pictures and illustrations of some of the lifters that require this attachment to work. Aluminum receivers will be installed on all three exterior sides of one of the two panels of the cover, as shown in the illustration below. They will NOT be visible to the eye, as they are inside the hot tub covers vinyl skin. They can be located by tapping on the edges so you can feel which panel has the aluminum hardware in it.

Not all Hot Spring cover lifters need to pierce the vinyl skin to attach into the cover. Some are the "fold over bar" type that do not need any additional mounting hardware installed since they do not attach into the cover.
