UPGRADES AND OPTIONS

• Continuous Hinge Seal
• The continuous hinge seal extends the full length of the fold for maximum insulation and significantly cuts heating bills, compared to the standard steam stopper pillows. Customers report the snow no longer melts above the fold! This upgrade pays for itself many times over by reducing operating costs for the life of the cover. This adds R-9 to any cover.

• Cover Thickness
• Further reduce your heating bills with greater cover thickness . This article proves that a 6" - 4" cover with 1.0 pound foam has a higher  R-value (insulating factor) than a higher priced 5" - 3" cover with 2.0 pound foam.

• Vapor Barrier Upgrades - Double Thick or Big Blue Barrier
• Extend the life of your hot tub cover by 12 - 18 months with our double thick vapor barrier wrap. 82% of hot tub covers die from water logging due to vapor barrier failure. This failure will happen eventually to every cover due to decomposition from spa chemicals, ozonators, etc. Doubling the thickness causes the deterioration to take longer. We also offer the Big Blue Barrier - twice as thick and even more decay resistant.

• Eco-Cover - Economy and Ecology
• Our Eco Cover was created in late 2008 to address both environmental issues and ever increasing consumer heating bills. ANY of our hot tub covers can be upgraded to an Eco Cover, which includes the following features found ONLY in our Eco Covers:

1. Continuous hinge seal (shown above)
2. Additional, custom, steam sealing heat blockers in the fold
3. Padded scuff cushion around the entire cover
4. Increases any cover's insulation factor by + R-11
5. Includes an additional 4 tie down straps for 8 total

• Core Density
• Hot tub covers are not meant to handle loads like kids, pets, wet snow, etc. However, the strength can be increased for additional protection by increasing the core density of the foam in the cover. Additional strength allows greater abuse before the foam will crack and fail. We recommend 2.0# foam if you have a lot of snow and we recommend upgrading to at least 1.5# foam if you have a 4-2 taper cover. The warranty does not cover cracking.

• Flat, Non-Tapering Cover
• If you hot tub is sheltered with a gazebo or decking above, you can increase your cover's insulation R-factor and strength by upgrading our 4-2 or 5-3 cover to a flat, non-tapering cover. The taper is so rain and snow drip off so if you do not have those elements, a flat cover will be better.

• Split Corner Skirts
• Split corner skirts allow the cover to close more easily so you do not have to walk around to each corner to make sure the skirt is not stuck underneath the cover when it was closed. By splitting the skirt at the corners, the skirt does not fold underneath the cover when closing and prevents costly heat loss.

• Additional 4 Tie Down Straps
• Sometimes a strap on each of the four sides is not enough. We can add an additional 4 straps, so each side of the cover has two straps for windy locations.

• Reinforced Hinge
• Our reinforced hinge is designed specifically to add strength to the cover when used with a cover lifter. We add reinforcement to the fold/hinge to increase it's strength when used with a fold over type cover lifter. These lifters "hang" the cover from it's hinge over the lifter bar, and can wear on the hinge over time. This upgrade adds nylon webbing which is sewn into the hinge. It is made from the same strapping used for the tie down straps and handles. The nylon strap is sewn interntally into the hinge area, making a multilayer hinge.

• Walk On Cover
• Our "Walk On" cover  will support about 400 pounds. The construction is exactly the same as our Standard cover but a laminated fiberglass sheet is attached to the core. This cover weighs approximately 100 pounds where our Standard cover weighs approximately 40 pounds. This cover is useful for spas that are installed into a deck, flush with the walking surface or for locations with heavy snow or large pets.

• Spa Cover Lifter
• The spa cover lifter removal system makes it easy to remove and recover your spa cover. Your spa cover is stored safely off the ground and in a low storage position to avoid falling over. Our lifter is made in the U.S.A. with the thickest tubing and no lead paint!

Manufacturing Policy

• We will custom make your spa cover to the dimensions you specify with a 1 tolerance
• Manufacturing typically takes 7 business days
• Any changes to an order MUST be made within 2 business days of ordering. Even then, we can ONLY make changes if the cover is not beyond the point of change in production.
• Please check and double check to be sure the order is accurate. We cannot cancel or make changes to your cover order once it is in production.
• Due to the lack of industry standards and common production variations, it is not possible to guarantee the safety strap placement will match your spa.

Warranty

• Our foam hot tub covers come with the manufacturers  warranty against defect in workmanship or materials. The warranty does not cover normal wear and tear or improper handling of the hot tub cover.
• VINYL SKIN ISSUES:  If an issue involves only the exterior vinyl skin, we may, at our discretion, pick up ONLY the vinyl skin for a remedy, instead of having the entire hot tub cover shipped. In these cases, clients agree to remove the vinyl skin and box it for return shipping. The vinyl skin can be removed by unzipping it in the fold, and removing the foam core like a pillow case.

Shipping Policy

• BeyondNice ships within the 48 Contiguous United States ONLY
• Due to high risk of damages, we do not provide international shipping
• We deliver to Alaska, Hawaii or Puerto Rico only with manual freight quote and additional charges
• No P.O. box deliveries
• No APO/FPO deliveries
• We contract with freight trucking carriers for curbside delivery only.
• Our hot tub covers ship in a 4' x 8' x 12" box and weighs about 55 pounds
• The delivery address must be tractor trailer (18-wheeler) accessible
• Tracking information is emailed when your spa cover ships.
• When your cover arrives at the destination terminal nearest the delivery address, the courier will call to schedule a delivery appointment.
• We are not responsible for delays caused by the carrier.
• We are not responsible for fees charged by the carrier for missed or rescheduled delivery appointments.
• Please carefully inspect your spa cover at the time of delivery. The driver CANNOT leave until you sign the Delivery Receipt.
• If the hot tub cover is damaged, write the damage on the Delivery Receipt and refuse the delivery so the freight carrier can return the spa cover to us.
• Notify us of the freight damage by email to sales@BeyondNice.com within 24 hours.
• If you accept a damaged hot tub cover, without noting damage on the Delivery Receipt, you will be solely responsible for submitting a claim to the freight company.
• If you leave a note allowing the freight company to drop off the spa cover without your inspection, and the hot tub cover has freight damage, you will be solely responsible for submitting a claim to the freight company.

Returns Policy

• Our hot tub covers are backed by the warranty but are not otherwise returnable.
• All hot tub covers are custom made to the dimensions specified.
• We have no stock or inventory and once we start production, we are making a cover specifically for our client. This is why the client credit card is charged before manufacturing begins.  
• We do not accept returns on our soft spa covers except for warranty issues.
• If the spa cover is manufactured to within 1 inch of the buyer supplied specifications, we will not accept a return.
• Defects in materials and craftsmanship are covered by the manufacturer's warranty.
• For issues affecting the vinyl skin only, the buyer agrees to remove the foam cores from inside the vinyl skin, and box the vinyl skin for return to the manufacturer so any issues can be resolved.

Terms & Conditions

• Hot tub covers are custom made and take 7 business days to manufacture.
• Spa covers typically arrive about 2 weeks from the time we receive the specifications.
• Delivery can be delayed if the delivery address is considered rural by common carriers.
• The manufacturer and the freight carriers recognize most major holidays.  Major holidays should not be counted in production or shipping times and may result in slight delivery delays.
