Protect your hot tub, your cover and even your cover lifter with the spa cap. It easily slips over your tub, cover and lifter to protect them from harmful weather conditions and UV damage. It is held in place by an elastic band around the spa.
The spa cover cap is made from tough and durable woven polyethylene. It is an off the shelf product and does not come in any other color than reflective silver. It was designed to protect your hot tub, cover and lifter from damaging UV rays and the other elements. Most hot tub covers fail from waterlogging which comes from the water in the spa, not the rain, but if the vinyl skin of your spa cover is failing, the spa cap is designed to add years of life to your cover's vinyl exterior skin.
The spa cover cap will perform well in all climates. In summer, the spa cover cap protects your hot tub cover's vinyl from sun damage. In the winter months the spa cover cap will protect your hot tub's expensive cover from snow and ice. In windy areas, the spa cap may need to be secured with straps over it.
The spa cover cap comes in standard sizes of seven feet square or eight feet square and has a 12" skirt. The cap is held by an elastic band for easy installation and removal.
The spa cover cap should not be used without a hard foam cover underneath it, as it is not designed for rain water runoff if used by itself.
