HOT TUB COVERS - ORDER CHANGES: Any changes to an order MUST be made within 2 business days of ordering. Even then, we can ONLY make changes if the cover is not beyond the point of change in production. Please check and double check to be sure the order is accurate. We cannot cancel or make changes to your cover order once it is in production.
HOT TUB COVERS - RETURNS / EXCHANGES: All covers are custom made to the dimensions specified on the order. There is no stock or inventory and once we start production, we are making a cover specifically for you. This is why the credit card is charged when the order is placed. Hot tub covers are covered by the warranty but are not otherwise returnable.
HOT TUB COVERS - UNDELIVERABLE: Should the buyer fail to make a delivery appointment, refuse the delivery, or fail to take possession of the cover for ANY reason, the freight company will begin charging storage fees after 4 days. These fees average $50 per day. Should the buyer request additional delivery attempts, the extra re-delivery fees charged by the freight company must be paid to BeyondNice before any redelivery can occur. BeyondNice reserves the right to have the cover returned to us to avoid ANY freight company fees. Should the cover be returned to BeyondNice, all freight costs incurred for shipping both directions will be non-refundable.
SPA COVER SAFETY STRAP PLACEMENT: Due to the lack of industry standards and common production variations, it is not possible to guarantee the safety strap placement will match your spa.
SPA COVER SHIPPING TIME: Hot tub covers typically average 10 - 15 business days between the time you order to the time we ship out your cover. Lead time can vary depending on your location, weather conditions and holidays. Delivery time ranges between 2 - 7 days, depending on the delivery location. If we are delivering to a remote location please add an extra 2-3 days. Hot tub covers are shipped via common carrier (18 wheeler semi-truck) to almost address anywhere in the contiguous 48 States.
SPA COVER DELIVERY INFO: Please be sure to provide an accurate e-mail address and DAYTIME phone number so the shipping company can call to arrange a convenient delivery time (a cell phone number is often the best option for this). You will receive tracking information and a link where you can track your cover via email once we ship. When the cover has arrived near your location, the shipping company will call to arrange for local delivery. They typically schedule delivery of your cover within a four hour window Monday through Friday during regular business hours.
Taking delivery of a new hot tub cover is much like taking delivery of new furniture. It's a good idea to be present when the hot tub cover is delivered. If you are present at the time of delivery, you can inspect the exterior of the packaging and note any damage on the delivery receipt. Please note the delivery carrier is responsible only for delivering the spa cover to your curbside or 1st floor front door.
Do not leave a note for the freight company to drop off the cover. With freight deliveries, this constitutes acceptance of the item in "as is" condition. This means if the product is damaged, the note constitutes acceptance of the damaged goods. In this case, we will not be able to assist and the buyer will be responsible for filing a freight damage claim with the freight company.
DAMAGED HOT TUB COVERS: On rare occasion, a cover is damaged in shipment. If you are present for the delivery and you see a hole or other damage to the box that looks as if the cover itself may have been damaged, please note this on the delivery receipt when you sign for your delivery, or, if you are sure the cover is damaged, please refuse the shipment. Please note that in all cases, your cover is insured against freight damage. However, if you accept the cover and later discover damages, we will be unable to assist and you will have to file a damage claim with the freight company. Returns will be accepted ONLY for covers damaged during shipment. We also accept returns for defects and production mistakes. Please contact us for a Return Merchandise Authorization number. Additionally, we accept returns under the conditions outlined in the 5 year Warranty. Please notify us of any problems like this within 48 hours of receiving your cover. We cannot accept returns for any other reason (Examples: 1. You gave us the wrong dimensions. 2. You hate the color).
VINYL SKIN ISSUES: If an issue involves only the exterior vinyl skin, we may, at our discretion, pick up the vinyl skin ONLY for a remedy, instead of having the entire cover shipped. In these cases, buyers agree to remove the vinyl skin and box it for return shipping. The vinyl skin can be removed by unzipping it in the fold, and removing the foam core like a pillow case.
HOT TUB COVER PRODUCTION TOLERANCES: Our covers are made with a 1" tolerance on the length and width.
