Numerous clients inquire about the purchase of a cover lifter when ordering their cover. Good new, here at BeyondNice we offer the cover lifters as well as the covers!

Hot tub cover lifters easily remove and store your hot tub and spa covers

So, why should you purchase a cover lifter? Well, a lot of clients want to purchase a cover lifter after months of trying to lift a heavy cover off the spa. They are simply tired of trying to lift a hundred pound cover off of the hot tub and think that if they have a cover lifter, this will eliminate the heavy lifting. This may help for a couple of weeks, but if your cover is heavy, it is waterlogged. A waterlogged cover must be replaced.

There are many reasons and benefits to ordering a cover lifter with your cover. We, at BeyondNice are big fans of cover removal systems for a few reasons.

1). The ease of a cover removal system means less effort to get into the hot tub. Due to this, owners of hot tubs with cover lifters use their hot tubs more frequently than hot tubbers without cover lifting systems. Isn’t this why we all own hot tubs to begin with, so we can use them as much as possible?

2). Cover removal systems extend the life of your spa cover. ANY cover removal system will keep your spa cover from being dragged across the ground, deck or pavers. This will increase the life of your hot tub covers due to the less damages that will occur.

3). The cover lifter will not only help to get the cover off of the hot tub, but it will hold the cover in a convenient place, out of the way, while you are in the hot tub.

4). After you spend a relaxing time in your hot tub, you will not want to have to get out of the hot tub, into the chilly night air, and have to muscle the hot tub cover back onto the hot tub. It is so much easier to simply pull the cover back onto half of the hot tub while still in the hot water, get out and simply flip the open side closed. Nice, easy and best of all very, very little effort so you can stay in a relaxed state.

When ordering your cover and your cover lift, keep in mind where you would like to mount the lift. You will need to consider where the lift will mount and the best way to enter and exit the tub. Take into consideration the direction you want your cover to fold to accommodate the lift. Also, think about if you want to mount the cover lift to the tub siding or under the tub itself. If you would like your lift to mount under the tub, you will want to make sure that you order the mounting plates that go under the spa. Mounting the lift this way is the strongest way to keep system in place. If you live in a cold climate, make sure to order the comfortable foam hand grips. It is no fun to grab the metal cold bar with wet chilly hands, just ask our clients up who tub in the snowy north!
